H.M.S. Warwick was one of twenty-one "W" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.
Service
Warwick immediately joined the Dover Patrol's Sixth Destroyer Flotilla upon commissioning in March, 1918.[8] Recommissioned on 1 December, 1920.[9]
She was re-commissioned 3 May, 1923 to serve with the First Destroyer Flotilla as part of the Atlantic Fleet.[10]
Re-commissioned at Devonport on 9 January, 1926 for service with the Fifth Destroyer Flotilla in the Atlantic.[11]
Warwick was re-commissioned at Devonport on 4 September, 1928 for continued service with the Fifth Destroyer Flotilla in the Atlantic.[12]
Reduced to Reserve at the Nore on 30 March, 1931.[13]
She commissioned at Chatham on 1 January, 1932.[14]
She re-commissioned on 11 January, 1933 for service with the Fifth Destroyer Flotilla of the Home Fleet.[15]
Transferred to Reserve Fleet at Devonport on 25 October, 1934.[16]
Reduced to Reserve at Devonport on 24 February, 1936.[17]
