Commander (retired) Bernard Sydney Davies, (28 January, 1899 – ) served in the Royal Navy as a Special Entry.

As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.

Davies was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 December, 1920.^[1]

Davies was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 December, 1928.^[2]

Davies was placed on the Retired List on account of age are the rank of Commander on 28 January, 1939.^[3]
