Commander (retired) Charles Edward Vereker Craufurd, (17 July, 1884 – 11 April, 1947) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Middlesex the son of Sir Charles William Frederick Craufurd[, Baronet?].[1]

Craufurd was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in October, 1906.[2]

Craufurd was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in October, 1914.[3]

Craufurd was placed on the Retired List at his own request with a gratuity on 10 May 1920. He was promoted to the rank of Commander on 17 July 1924.[4]
