Captain George Couper, R.N., Retired (5 April, 1861 – 27 November, 1916) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Raised by his mother, Lady Couper. He could speak French and Spanish and had a good physique.

Couper was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 29 June, 1883.

Couper was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1896.

Couper was placed on the Retired List as phsyically unfit with the rank of Captain on 6 October, 1904.
