Lieutenant-Commander Sydenham Gordon Douglas, R.N. (5 August, 1867 – 26 August, 1928) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The eldest son of Admiral Robert Gordon Douglas was born in Lower Walmer.

Douglas was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 January, 1891.

Douglas was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 January, 1899.

Placed on the Retired List at his own request on 19 September, 1904.

Douglas died "suddenly" at 46 Westbourne, Tee of a cerebral hemorrhage.
