Commander John Henry Eaden, D.S.C.** (23 February, 1910 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.
Life & Career
Eaden passed out of Royal Naval College, Dartmouth with a class III certificate in March, 1927.[1]
Eaden was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1932.[2]
Appointed to Swordfish on 19 November, 1934.[3]
Appointed to Cyclops on 7 Feberuary, 1936.[4]
Eaden was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 October, 1940.[5]
Eaden was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1945.[6]
Retired 9 January, 1955.[7]
