Commander (retired) George Frederick Elson (20 June, 1883 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Elson was promoted to the rank of Acting Warrant Officer on 18 December, 1913.

Elson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 18 April, 1918.

Elson was appointed in command of the patrol boat P25 on 20 December, 1918.[1]

Elson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 18 April, 1924, which seems quite early.

Elson was placed on the Retired List on account of age with the rank of Commander on 23 June, 1928.
