Lieutenant Guy Hart, R.N. (21 July, 1883 – 13 June, 1907) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Hart passed out of Britannia on Christmas, 1899 ranked thirteenth on the list and a prizewinner in seamanship, both general and charts and instruments. He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 January, 1905.[1]
Hart died at Haslar Hospital after suffering serious injuries in a small gasoline explosion aboard C 8 at her moorings in Portsmouth Harbour in the morning hours of 13 June, 1907. Two other men were slightly injured, and the submarine was not damaged.[2]
