Captain (retired) Llewellyn Evan Hugh Llewellyn, C.B., O.B.E., R.N. (14 December, 1879 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Walter John Llewellyn, J.P. of County Down.
His first service was in St. George at the Cape of Good Hope from 21 August 1895 to April 1897 when he was appointed to Victorious in the Channel Squadron. In July, he moved over to the battleship Magnificent.
Llewellyn was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 August, 1900.
Appointed to Terrible as Lieutenant (G) on 3 January, 1905 and re-appointed on 28 March, 1905.[1] He served there until being appointed to Good Hope as gunnery officer on 15 July 1905.
On 2 February 1906 he was admitted to Osborne Convalescent Home.
