Vice-Admiral SIR Cecil Aubrey Lawson Mansergh, K.B.E., C.B., D.S.C. (7 October, 1898 – 31 July, 1990) served in the Royal Navy.
He was the younger brother of Admiral Sir Maurice James Mansergh.
Life & Career
Mansergh commanded the aircraft carrier H.M.S. Implacable in 1946.
He was Vice-Controller of the Navy while serving as Director of Naval Equipment in 1948 and commanded the Second Cruiser Squadron in 1950.
Mansergh was President of the Royal Naval College, Greenwich from 1952 until 1954.
