Commander (retired) John Newton, (29 March, 1900 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Newton was promoted to the rank of Mate on 1 December, 1921.

Newton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 August, 1924.

Newton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 August, 1932.

Newton was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Commander on 29 March, 1945.
