Rear-Admiral SIR William David Stewart Scott, K.B.E., C.B., R.N. (5 April, 1921 – 20 January, 2006) served in the Royal Navy.
I have been unable to find a Service Record for him at The National Archives.
Life & Career
Scott was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 16 February, 1942.[1]
Scott was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 16 February, 1950.[2]
Scott was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1956.[3]
Scott was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1962.[4]
Scott was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 7 July, 1971 and placed on the Retired List on 16 June, 1980.[5]
