Commander (retired) Alexander Young Crawshay Mainwaring Spearman, (20 March, 1862 – 4 June, 1915) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Spearman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in September, 1885
Spearman was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Commander on 31 March, 1906.
Spearman would join the Royal Naval Division's Collingwood Battalion and die in the Third Battle of Krithia in the Dardanelles Campaign.
