Life & Career
The son of retired Major Charles Turner, R.M..
Turner was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 June, 1917. This was adjusted to 15 March, 1917.[1]
Turner was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 March, 1925.[2]
Turner was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1930.[3]
World War II
Turner was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Captain on 7 December, 1945.[4]
