Lieutenant Reginald Paul Whiting, R.N. (21 August, 1885 – 18 October, 1912) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Battersea, the son of "independent" H. P. Whiting.[1] He ranked 37th of 63 candidates accepted for entry in the September, 1900 entry term to H.M.S. Britannia, scoring 2246 marks.[2]
Harbottle was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1907.[3]
His resignation was accepted on 9 January, 1909 and he was placed on the Emergency List on 17 February. He was murdered by his wife in Tunis in October, 1912.[4]
