Lieutenant-Commander (retired) James Charles Willis, R.N. (21 April, 1876 – 2 December, 1952) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Willis was granted the acting rank of Gunner (T) on 5 September, 1905 and confirmed in the rank on 27 November, 1906.
Willis was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 March, 1918.
Willis was appointed in command of the patrol boat P46 in January, 1920.[1]
Willis was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 1 August, 1922 and promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander (retired) on 1 March, 1926.
