Rear-Admiral Peter Skelton, (27 December, 1901 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.
Life & Career
Skelton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1923.[1]
Skelton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1931.[2]
Skelton was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1936.[3]
World War II
Skelton was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1944.[4]
Skelton was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 8 July, 1953 and was placed on the Retired List on 1 October, 1956.[5]
