Rear-Admiral Charles Penrose Rushton Coode, C.B., D.S.O., Royal Navy, Retired (24 October, 1870 – 23 December, 1939) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Early Life & Career
Coode was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1904.[1]
He was appointed in command of the scout cruiser Forward on 13 August, 1907.[2]
Coode was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1913.[3]
Coode was appointed to the Blenheim on 1 February, 1914, as Captain (D) of the Fifth Destroyer Flotilla.[4]
On the occasion of the King's birthday he was appointed an Additional Member of the Third Class, or Companion, in the Military Division of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (C.B.) on 3 June, 1919.[5]
