John Collings-Taswell Glossop, C.B., ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 22 June, 1911.
He was appointed in command of the battleship Hood on 1 September, 1910.[Citation needed]
He commanded the light cruiser Sydney and brought the German raider Emden to action and destroyed her off the Cocos.[1]
