Casper Joseph Baker ( – ) was an officer of the Royal Navy during the First World War.

Life & Career

Baker was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December 1898.

In February 1901, he assumed command of the second class protected cruiser Astræa.[1]

In November 1902, he was placed in command of the second class protected cruiser Flora.[2]

He assumed command of the first class protected cruiser Edgar in February 1905 and of the battleship Ramillies in September 1906.[3]

He retired on 8 May, 1907.
