Admiral SIR James Andrew Thomas Bruce, K.C.M.G., Royal Navy (15 July, 1846 – 25 May, 1921) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
On 9 November, 1900, Bruce was appointed an Ordinary Member of the Second Class, or Knight Commander, in the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George (K.C.M.G.).[1]
Bruce was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 30 May, 1903, vice Dale.[2]
Bruce was promoted to the rank of Admiral on 8 February, 1907, vice Douglas.[3] In accordance with the provisions of the Order in Council of 16 July, 1895, he was placed on the Retired List on 2 January, 1909.[4]
