Commander (retired) THE RIGHT HONOURABLE Lord George Frederick Seymour, R.N. (3 September, 1881 – 30 October, 1940) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of the Marquis of Hertford was born in Park Hall.
Seymour was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 September, 1903.
Seymour was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 September, 1911.
Seymour was placed on the Retired List at his own request with rank of Commander on 8 November, 1922.
Seymour was reported on 30 April 1938 to have suffered a stroke and to have not yet fully recovered.
