H.M.S. Folkestone was one of five Hastings Class sloops completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Commissioned at Portsmouth on 1 July, 1930.[5]
Re-commissioned at Hong Kong on 2 April, 1934 for service on the China Station.[6]
Re-commissioned at Singapore on 8 October, 1936 for service on the China Station.[7]
