Vice-Admiral Edward Oliver Brudenell Seymour Osborne, C.B., D.S.O., Royal Navy (13 April, 1883 – 17 September, 1956) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Osborne underwent examinations for in July, 1897 and gained entrance to Britannia's term of August, 1897, his 1398 marks placing him eleventh among the sixty-three candidates accepted as naval cadets.[1]

Osborne was the Gunnery Officer of H.M.S. Conqueror from 15 April, 1912–1915, and Executive Officer 1915–1918.

In August 1930, he was appointed in command of the light cruiser Centaur.
