Rear-Admiral (retired) Charles Edward Monro, R.N. (23 December, 1862 – 19 January, 1937) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Reverend H. Monro.
Monro was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1885.
Monro was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1901.
Monro was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1907.
Placed on the Retired List on 1 September, 1910, Monro was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral (retired) on 3 January, 1919.
