Captain John Sherbrook Morris Richardson, D.S.O. (13 May, 1907 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.

Life & Career

Richardson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 16 February, 1930.

Richardson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 16 February, 1938.

World War II

Richardson was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1941.

Richardson was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1949. Retired on 7 July, 1958.
