Commander Edward Oscar Bickford, D.S.O. (27 July, 1909 – mid July, 1940) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Bickford was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 June, 1931.

Bickford was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 June, 1939.

Bickford was promoted to the rank of Commander on 19 December, 1939. He died when his command, H.M.S. Salmon was lost.
