Lieutenant-Commander Edward Ogle Disney, (17 December, 1886 – 4 January, 1916) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born at Muzafferspur[?], Behar, India.
Disney was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1907.[1]
Disney was appointed to the light cruiser H.M.S. Arethusa as Gunnery Officer on 7 December, 1914 and was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1915.[2]
He was lost overboard at sea from Arethusa on the evening of 4 January 1916 and drowned. A Court of Enquiry determined that it was an accident.[3]
