Vice-Admiral Arthur Kenneth Macrorie, C.M.G., M.V.O., Retired, Royal Navy (6 June, 1874 – 25 November, 1947) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Macrorie was appointed Captain of Juno on 1 August, 1914.[1]
In June 1915, he assumed command of the first class protected cruiser Theseus. He left the ship in August 1918.[2]
He commanded Emperor of India from November 1922 until May 1924.[3]
Macrorie was advanced to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List on 1 August, 1929.[4]
Macrorie's funeral took place on 29 November at Aldinbourne, Chichester. The Reverend H. A. King officiated.
