H.M.S. Fantome was one of six Cadmus Class sloops completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Fantome was serving as a survey vessel when the Great War arrived.

She was transferred to the Royal Australian Navy on 27 November 1914.

Fantome paid off at Sydney on 17 April, 1924.[7]
