John Russell Dodington

Lieutenant-Commander John Russell Dodington, R.N., Retired (6 January, 1878 – 1 September, 1916) served in the Royal Navy.
In some sources, his middle name is spelled "Russel".
Life & Career
Dodington was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1897.
Dodington was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 December, 1907.
Diagnozed with hemiplegia which had required him to be invalided from command of Redbreast in August, 1910, Dodington was retired as unfit on 6 July 1911.
Died of pneumonia.
