Lieutenant-Commander Donald Priaulx MacGregor, R.N. (11 June, 1887 – 20 January, 1918) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Melrose, Guernsey, the son of Lieutenant-Colonel A. D. MacGregor.
MacGregor was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1909.
MacGregor was appointed in command of the destroyer Arun on 15 April, 1914.[1]
MacGregor was appointed in command of groups of Net Drifters from 30 August 1915 through 17 February, 1916, being himself in Dreel Castle, Manzanita and Osiris.
MacGregor was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1917.
He died when his M.28 was sunk on 20 January, 1918.[2]
