Captain (retired) Peter Bruff Garrett, R.N. (14 July, 1866 – 11 February, 1950) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
At the examinations for naval cadetships in June 1879, Garrett placed fifteenth out of thirty-seven successful candidates.[1]
Garrett was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1890.
Retired due to age with the rank of Commander on 14 July, 1911.
Garrett was subsequently promoted to the rank of Captain (retired) in recognition of war service with seniority of 11 November, 1918.
