Henry Berwick Crane

Captain Henry Berwick Crane, C.B.E, R.N. (19 June, 1894 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Charles Arnold Crane, Esq., gentleman gained one month's time on passing out of the Training Establishment on 15 January, 1912 and becoming a Midshipman.

Crane was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 August, 1916, which was later adjusted to 15 May, 1916.

Post-War

Crane was appointed in command of the submarine H 44 on 4 November, 1920.

Crane was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 May, 1924.

Crane was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1929.

Crane was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1937.
