Rear-Admiral Clarence Dinsmore Howard-Johnston, D.S.C., D.S.O., C.B. (13 October, 1903 – 26 January, 1996) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Howard-Johnston was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 December, 1925.[1]
Howard-Johnston was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 December, 1933.[2]
Howard-Johnston was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1937.[3]
Howard-Johnston was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1943.[4]
Howard-Johnston was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 8 January, 1953.[5]
Retired 1 July, 1955.[6]
