Captain Frederick Danford Gordon Challis, D.S.C. ( – ) served in the Royal Navy.
I have been unable to find a Service Record for him at The National Archives.
Life & Career
Challis was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 23 May, 1938.
Challis was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 16 April, 1946.
Challis was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1951.
Challis was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1958.
Challis served as Commodore, Auckland from 11 September 1962 to 10 June, 1964.
