Admiral Henry St. Leger Bury Palliser, Royal Navy (22 June, 1839 – 17 March, 1907) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Early Life & Career

Palliser was promoted to the rank of Captain with seniority of 25 March, 1878.[1]

Flag Rank

Palliser was promoted tot he rank of Rear-Admiral dated 26 April, 1893.[2]

In accordance with the provisions of the Order in Council of 22 February, 1870, he was placed on the Retired List dated 22 June, 1899.[3] He was advanced to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List on 13 July,[4] and to the rank of Admiral on the Retired List on 15 March, 1904.[5]

Bury Palliser died at Warehead aged sixty-seven on 17 March, 1907. A funeral service was held at Boxgrove near Chichester on 21 March and he was buried at Everton Church, Beds.[6]

On 28 May, 1944 his widow passed away in Chichester.[7]
