Captain (retired) Edward Carelton Stubbs, (9 March, 1881 – 25 June, 1952) served in the Royal Navy. One of his three Service Records and the Navy Lists generally have his name clearly as "Carleton", but I have chosen the less orthodox name for its twice-used occurrences.
Life & Career
Stubbs was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 March, 1903.
Stubbs was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 March, 1911.
Stubbs was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1916.
He was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Captain on
