H.M.S. Hollyhock was one of twenty-four Acacia Class sweeping sloops completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Hollyhock operated as part of the Twelfth Sloop Flotilla in the Mediterranean from November 1917 to May 1918.

Hollyhock operated as part of the Eleventh Sloop Flotilla based at [Gibraltar]] from July to December, 1918, spending some of that time in a paid-off state.

Hollyhock operated for just a month or so as part of the First Sloop Flotilla, part of the Southern Division, Coast of Ireland Station and then joined the Twenty-fourth Sloop Flotilla on the same station, operating there from January to April, 1919.

Hollyhock was re-commissioned at Hong Kong on 9 February, 1924.[6]

She was re-commissioned on 5 November, 1926.[7]

The sloop was paid off to a C. & M. Party at Portsmouth on 25 May, 1928.[8]
