Rear-Admiral SIR Harry Hampson Stileman, K.B.E., Royal Navy, Retired (9 August, 1860 – 28 October, 1938) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Early Life & Career

Stileman was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1898.[1]

Stileman was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1903.[2]

He was appointed command of the armoured cruiser Duke of Edinburgh on 9 January, 1908.[3]

Great War

Stileman was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on the Retired List on 2 November, 1914.[4]

On 1 January, 1920, Stileman was appointed Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.).[5]

Stileman died after a fall on 28 October, 1938.[6]
