Harry Holdsworth Rawson

Admiral SIR Harry Holdsworth Rawson, G.C.B., G.C.M.G., Royal Navy (5 November, 1843 – 3 November, 1910) was an officer of the Royal Navy. From 1902 to 1909 he served as Governor of the Australian state of New South Wales.
Life & Career
Rawson was promoted to the rank of Commander from the Royal Yacht on 7 September, 1871.[1]
Rawson was appointed a Naval Aide-de-Camp to the Queen dated 2 August, 1890, vice Fisher.[2]

In accordance with the provisions of the Order in Council of 22 February, 1870, Rawson was placed on the Retired List on 5 November, 1908.[3]
