Commander (retired) John Edmund Power Bickford (2 August, 1879 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

His father was Andrew K. Bickford, R.N..

Life & Career

Born in Southsea.

Bickford was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1902.[1]

He qualified as an Interpreter in French.

Bickford was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April, 1910.

Post-War

Bickford was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Commander on 4 November, 1923.
