Cecil Rice Nicholl

Commander (retired) Cecil Rice Nicholl, R.N. (21 March, 1876 – 8 July, 1939) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Major General Nicholl was born in Winchester.

Nicholl was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1898.

Nicholl was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1906.

Nicholl was granted the acting rank of Commander on 1 November, 1918.

Post-War

Nicholl was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Commander (retired) on 21 March, 1921.
