James Hamilton Swain

Commander (retired) James Hamilton Swain, D.S.O. (10 May, 1905 – 31 March, 1970) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Swain was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 August, 1928.[1]

Swain was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 August, 1936.[2]

Swain was placed on the Retired List with the rank of Commander (retired) on 17 September, 1948.[3]
