Captain Mervyn Somerset Thomas, D.S.O. (30 August, 1900 – 21 August, 1947) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of W. C. Thomas, Esq., a professor of music.[1]

Thomas was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 September, 1921.[2]

Thomas was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 September, 1929.[3]

Thomas was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1936.[4]

World War II

Thomas was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1941.
