William Jabez Scullard

Captain (retired) William Jabez Scullard, R.N. (22 January, 1851 – 25 January, 1927) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

At the examination for naval cadetships in December, 1864, Scullard was ranked fourth out of eight candidates accepted as second-class Naval Cadets.[1]

Scullard was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 19 November, 1877.

Scullard was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1893.

Scullard was placed on the Retired List on account of age on 22 January, 1901 and promoted to the rank of Captain (retired) on 31 December, 1908.
