Admiral SIR John Fellowes, K.C.B., Royal Navy (1 April, 1843 – 22 September, 1913) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Fellowes was promoted to the rank of Commander on 18 September, 1873.[1]
He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 29 January, 1880.[2]
He was appointed a Member of the Third Class, or Companion, in the Military Division of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (C.B.) on 25 August, 1885.[3]
On 1 January, 1894, he was appointed Captain Superintendent of Sheerness Dockyard.[4]

Fellowes was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 1 January, 1895.[5]
He was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 17 March, 1901, vice Powlett.[6]
On the occasion of the King's birthday, he was appointed an Ordinary Member of the Second Class, or Knight Commander, in the Military Division of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) on 9 November, 1903.[7]
Fellowes was promoted to the rank of Admiral on 26 November, 1904, vice Drummond.[8] In accordance with the provisions of the Order in Council of 8 December, 1903, he was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 8 June, 1905.[9]
