Captain Hughes Campbell Lockyer (4 March, 1866 - 22 June, 1941) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Lockyer was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1908.
He was appointed captain of H.M.S. Exmouth in December of 1912, remaining there until July 1913.
Lockyer was then appointed in command of the battleship Implacable on 21 August, 1913,[1] directing her while supporting shore bombardment activities off Gallipoli and the Straits in April and May, 1915.[2]
He retired on 21 March, 1918.
