Commander (retired) Ernest Robert Maycock, R.N. (23 August, 1882 – 2 May, 1952) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Maycock was promoted to the rank of Supply Lieutenant on 1 April, 1913.

Maycock was injured when Cupar was mined and lost off the east coast on 5 May 1919, just two days after he'd been appointed in command.

In command of the trawler William Jones from 3 January, 1920 until he retired on 19 April, 1920.

Maycock was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander (retired) on 1 April, 1921.

Maycock was promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) on 23 August, 1922.
