Captain Frederic Henry Walter, R.N. (18 August, 1872 – 29 July, 1949) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Major F. E. Walter, Royal Artillery, Walter entered Britannia in January, 1886 after placing thirtieth in order of merit of the forty candidates for naval cadetship that were accepted for acceptance following a round of examinations in late November, 1885.[1]
Walter was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1894.
Walter was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1905.
Walter was granted the acting rank of Captain on 26 September, 1916.
Walter was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1918.
